Whereas we all share your opinion of Microsoft's latest brainstorm, any company with a position in any market will say this about their products, whatever ratings and reviewers say - that their products are always the best. It's only a means of trying to suck people in in Microsoft's case, but in the cases of many other companies it really is a matter of opinion and likenesses, and who can make the best product. If Microsoft hadn't been allowed to choke the markets, they would be competing against other manufacturers for who could make the best OS - and they would have fallen flat a long time ago. And with the way they're going, they'll fall flat when word of the various problems and Microsoft's hostile treatment of users gets out to people who know nothing about their ways.
