Who is the best director in Tamil?
Sridhar, K.Balachander, Bharathiraja, Mahendran, Maniratnam, Balu Mahendra, Gautam Menon, Ameer, Bala....

Shankar n K S ravikumar becuz both of them directed so many super hit movies
sry i cud not chose frm ur list

For me, K.S Ravikumar, he gives always a special touch to da movies.

And Cheeran, who is a new director, but creat meaningful movies,

that s why i lik him! I really appreciated his Autograph and thavamai thavam irundu.

K.Balachander : all realistic movies no cinema mix in it.

K.S.Ravikumar: my fav director, all of his movies are super hit.

Gowtham Menan: hollywood style movies.

Ameer: also a realistic director

Bala: he found out the talents of some unfamous heroes and made them famous.

Maniratnam: no dialougs!

Bharathiraja: more interested in village style movies.

Cheeran: real life events.

I trust all these directors' movies when they release a new film, because I like all these people for those reasons that I've discussed.
