A recent study shows MySpace.com is the #1 social network website, with 612 million user in the United States of America. Nielsen/NetRatings study has listed the most popular social networks in United States of America, in July. The growth of Facebook, which has gotten about 11 million member in just one months, shows the risk that MySpace empire is exposed to.
The most popular social network in Brazil, Orkut, is out of the list. Orkut has lost its position even to the social network Club Peguin, a website used only by kids. It was expected since Orkut has lacks of privacy and security. Clever people are always concerned about security and privacy that’s the reason Orkut lost in America. Oppositely to the developed world, brazilians and indians seem to be not worried about that privacy and security, since Orkut is growing in those countries. It means Orkut is not part of the top social networks in America because of its disregard with its users. Leave the list! Go away! Depart! Jet!
